Roughly equivalent to Romney, WV, Trellisville is located where the line descends into the Paston Valley, after crossing the continental divide by means of a substantial tunnel.  The first coal mine out from Winchester is located here.

Trellisville is much compressed on the layout, lacking even a full train length between it and Paston Depot, but all the essentials are present.  The name derived from the unique character of the company houses which were first erected for the coal miners.  These homes each had a small trelliswork over the front entry, a small gesture to make up for the otherwise plain features.  As company housing goes, though, it was a special and unique luxury, and the miners were proud enough to name the town that grew up around them after it.
