Canadian Pacific Royal Hudson Custom Engine Mod for Railroad Tycoon 3 Hex-editing by Kimmo Jaske and Michael Rountree Skinning by Michael Rountree http://wpandp.com/RRtycoon.html I am re-releasing the Royal Hudson that Kimmo produced, now with an accurate skin and a more appropriate tender. While this supercedes the original Royal Hudson (which looks like the U1 4-8-2), it will not overwrite the original files, as they are part of the Loco Pack which includes its own Uninstall routine. You may wish to manually remove the original; the easiest way to do so is to remove the "HudsonL.car", "HudsonL.lco", and "HudsonT.car" files from EngineTypes. All files related to this mod are named "CPR464". From the Loco Pack's description: Royal Hudson 1937-1962 The Montreal Locomotive Works produced 65 Hudson locomotives for the Canadian Pacific Railroad between 1929 and 1940. Designed for express, it could also operate as a freight engine if necessary. In 1939, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II travelled from Quebec to Vancouver in a train pulled by #2850; the Canadian Pacific then applied for the right to display crowns on their Hudsons’ running boards, and designated #2820 through #2864 as the “Royal” Hudsons. Location North America Top Speed 90 mph Grade Climbing Below Average Cost $250,000 Annual Maintenance $25,000 Fuel Economy Average Acceleration Above Average Reliability Above Average Passenger Appeal Looks Sharp INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Unzip the ZIP file you downloaded, and then place the files in their proper folders. The .CAR and .LCO files go into your RRT3/Data/EngineTypes folder, and the PK4 file goes into RRT3/Data/UserExtraContent. I would appreciate any feedback you might have!
